Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry was an American model and actress who took her home Miss USA title in 1996. The name of her mother was inspired by model Ali MacGraw after she watched the film she directed in 1970, 'Love Story'. She's from French (Cajun) heritage and was born in Cecilia, Louisiana, where she attended Cecilia High School. At seventeen, she was captain of her high school cheerleading squad and was given the title 'Miss Louisiana Teen USA. In 1996, she was awarded the 'Miss Louisiana USA' title and became famous after winning the title 'Miss America. She made her acting debut in 1997 on the television show 'Clueless'. In 1998, she racked up popularity by playing the "Doritos Girl" after appearing on the Super Bowl commercial for 'Doritos. Her debut came as an actress on film in the movie Beautiful. Through the following years she appeared in many TV and film productions. Her name has appeared in many'most-wanted women' lists.
