Lesley-Ann Brandt was born in Cape Town in South Africa on December 2, 1981. Model and actress well known for her roles in television and in films. Brandt made her debut in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was in her part as Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress was a part of several television shows in the past decade, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt plays Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was born within Cape Town South Africa. Later, in her late teens she immigrated along with her parents in Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's career started as a fashion model after she was featured in magazine and television advertisements. Her rise to stardom as a model began while she worked in the retail industry and IT recruitment. She was Leilani an NZer in the comedy Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. In 2021, she had her first big appearance in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played a slave girl named Naevia. Her role as Naevia was reprised on the Spartacus prequel Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three TV series, including Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she was cast as the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen in the Netflix popular show Lucifer. She has played her the most significant role to this point. She co-stars on the show with Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro as well as D. B. Woodside.
