Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox, who studied for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. She was able to survive on a student stipend and did part-time jobs to help supplement her income. Lennox wasn't satisfied with the level of her skills compared to others at the Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. However, she left before her band was asked to participate in I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980, she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop group. It was during this time that she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she will form Pop duo Eurythmics. After that, Lennox started working on her solo first album Diva which came out in 1992. Commercially and critically, it was an enormous success. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. The E.P. This is the companion album of her "Now I let the door open... artwork, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut independent album. Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is a Scottish politician and singer. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox, along with Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to gain international recognition in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. In 1992, Lennox started her own solo career by releasing their debut record Diva that produced a number of hit songs, such as Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album, features the cover versions of some popular songs such as No More I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer has released six solo album compilations and studio albums.
